Personalise & buy >>The picture is applied to a quality wood base, then laser cut in a Victorian style, marrying tradition with modern technology. The puzzle is presented in a quality fabric draw-string bag inside a sturdy cardboard box.
The Victorians were experts and making their jigsaws tricky - corners are disected so you can't identify them, and straight edges appear in the middle of the jigsaw, making the 255 pieces (approx) much harder than they should be. Some of the pieces are cut into interesting shapes, known as 'whimsies' because they were done at the whim of the person cutting the jigsaw: you can choose your preferred theme for the whimsies in you puzzle, or let our designers select an appropriate one for you.

Personalise & buy >>To make it a bit more tricky, why not opt for the Victorian First Edition map (England and Wales only)? Not only are you trying to recreate the environment of over 100 years ago, but the map is also monochrome, having been originally produced using Copperplate Engraving.
The area covered by your jigsaw depends on your choice of options.
The Landranger jigsaws (1:50,000) are approximately 8x11 miles (255 pieces) or 9x14.5 miles (400 pieces).
The Victorian First Edition (1:10,000 scale) is packed with period detail, at approximately 1.7x2.2 miles (255 pieces) or 2x3 miles (400 pieces).
Your jigsaw comes in a box with plenty of space for you to write your own message. In the centre of the jigsaw you'll find a piece shaped like a house.
